PARIS BABY!!!

About 3 weeks ago Zach and I got back from a trip of a life time. It was truly an adventure...in more than one way. We left of June 12th and headed to Paris, France. Zach had already been there (about 10 years prior), but for me it was a whole new world. I absolutely LOVED it! The cit was breath-taking and the the food and people just made it even better. I have heard people say in the past how rude the French are....but it's simply not true. We had a very nice experience there with the people. I think the important thing to remember is that you are infringing on their culture...so relax...and take it all in. My favorite part (besides the Eiffel Tower) was probably Monmarte. It is like its own little village on to if a very high hill...which we climbed (289 steps)! There is a beautiful basilica at the very top with a breath-taking view of the whole city. The artists were lining the streets just painting away, their was music playing from a little cafe on the corner, and there was enough gelato around to satisfy even my ice-cream habit. It was truly the most unforgettable, most romantic place I have been too. At least that is what I thought until I got to Venice. Then I changed the ranking in my head to put Venice at the top of my list as the most romantic spit I had ever been to...with Paris coming in as a close second.
